ES BALADRE - Chalet for 5 people in Port d'Alcudia.
Chalet 1-5 3 2Description holiday home
This wonderful chalet is placed between the two of the most beautiful lakes of this lively summer town and only 1 km away from the beach, so its is perfect for those who love the water around. The gravel garden is perfect to relax while having breakfast outdoors, chatting surrounded by peace with a glass of wine or enjoying a succulent barbecue. Then the swinging hammock under the porch will allow you to withdraw while reading a book or listening to some music. The property is fenced and there are neighbours around.
While the exterior area features a traditional style, the inside surprises with its modernity and delicacy. When you enter you find a great living room with AC which leads to the dining and the kitchen. Here you find a comfortable sofa where you can sit and watch TV, listen to a CD or take a nap after a delicious banquet that you will enjoy on the dining table and cook on the ceramic top. The laundry room offers a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. There are two bathrooms with a shower in the house as well as three bedrooms with a closet each. One has a single bed and the other two have two twin beds each. These two last have a fan and space for a baby cot and a high chair. There is an AC unit in the corridor to cool down the bedrooms. In addition, there are two radiators for the coldest days.
The area of Puerto de Alcudia is special thanks to its great tourist offer: water sports, night life, shops, restaurants, cafes, ice-cream parlours and much more, specially in the summer. It also boasts one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in the island thanks to its crystalline waters and white sand. However, if you feel like knowing small dream-like coves you can visit the ones of Sant Joan or La Victoria, the first of sand and the second of rocks and stones. In case you want to play golf you will find the course of Alcanada about 7.6 km away boasting impressive views to the bay and sea. The traditional street markets of Alcudia on Tuesdays and Sundays really are worth a visit too. Consult the advertiser for possible charges. Pets are not allowed. The holding of events is forbidden. There is exterior parking for 1 cars.

English Directions on how to find us. From South and both West and East: From the direction of both Ourense (sometimes spelt Orense) and Ponferrada. Follow the N120 until you reach or are near Monforte de Lemos From the Ponferrada direction (East) you will pass Monforte and from the Ourense direction (West) it is before you get there.
* Take the road CG2.1 (on some maps it will be CRG2.1) Signposted Santiago, Chantada and Lalin. It is a via rapida and has green signs. Follow this road for about 7/8kms and come off at the turning Signed Toiriz/Ferreira (ignore any other signs to Ferreira) It is the third junction. At the T junction at the end of the slip road, turn left towards Ferreira (LU4106) and go over the road you have just left. The road narrows suddenly just after this and there is a cross roads… Go straight on. You will pass a sign to Serpentiña on the left and O Bargo and then there is a sign to Castrotañe on the right (It is within 600 metres of the turn off and there is a concrete apron in front of a house just before the lane which leads to Castrotañe). Take this small lane, which winds uphill to a tiny village, 100+ metres. I am the first house on the right with windows overlooking the road, solar panels & painted pale pink.
From the North, Chantada, Santiago etc Take the road CG2.1 (on some maps it will be CRG2.1) Signposted Monforte de Lemos (and before Chantada Ourense I think). It is a via rapida and has green signs. It is a little complicated to find it at Chantada as the road to Ourense splits off there…. Make sure you follow the signs to Monforte de Lemos.

Directions from Lugo. Follow the signs to Sarria and then Monforte de Lemos. Follow the CG2.2 which leads you around the north side of Monforte de Lemos to the north. At the roundabout take the VG2.1 and follow the signs to Chantada and get onto the CG2.1 heading north(it is the first turning off this road). Then follow the directions as if coming from the south You can either park on the grass outside the walls, and call in for the keys, or drive right past and park around the back outside, My front door is in this area, with a small bed of fushias and lavender, walk down to it and there is a bell beside the door.
